Should I read the Bible every day?
What would happen if we emphasized transformational Bible reading more than daily Bible reading? What would it look like to remove the standard of completing something daily and instead focus on how our mind is being shaped each time as we engage with God through Bible reading, whenever it occurs? And if that type of transformation were to occur, would it lead to eventual daily Bible reading out of a pure joy in communing with God?
That may seem like a big task. It can be intimidating to aim for transformational Bible reading and not be certain if you'll walk away from your time in the Word feeling transformed. So where do we start? How do we begin to actually read our Bibles in a way that grows our relationship with God to where we begin to know Him, not just know about Him?
