God & Neighbor
Explore the Bible. Encounter Jesus. Love God and others.
We live in a distracted world.
Competing agendas, cluttered minds, lots of priorities - which means the Bible often sits at the bottom of our to-do list.
But what could it look like to enjoy exploring the Bible again? How would life be different if the first thing we wanted to do every day was read the Bible and commune with God?
God & Neighbor offers structured, digestible, and engaging Bible-reading plans to help you enjoy exploring the Bible. As you encounter Jesus in each plan, you’ll learn what it looks like to love God and others in the middle of your non-stop day.
Plans
Every reading plan will focus on the narrative cycle of Creation, Fall, Redemption and Restoration. This cycle will help you stay rooted in the overall story of the Bible while still encouraging you to read different texts over time. With each plan, you’ll progressively explore more of the Bible until eventually you’re reading all of Scripture!
Skills
In each reading plan, you’ll learn a new skill to understand the Bible. These skills will help you interpret the Bible and become more confident in how you navigate and explore different texts. Skills build upon one another, so the more reading plans you complete, the more skills you’ll acquire to enjoy studying the Bible.
Loops
In the spirit of curiosity and exploration, each reading plan will come with one or more loops - extra opportunities to learn about a specific topic related to the Bible. Think of loops as slight detours or excursions off the beaten path of Creation, Fall, Redemption and Restoration. They’re not the main idea of the reading plan, but still worthwhile!
God & Neighbor
By the end of each reading plan, you’ll assess the most important questions: What does the text teach you about God and humanity? And how does this shape the way that you love God and others? Jesus claims that all Scripture points to the greatest commandment of loving God and others, so reflecting on these questions is key.
