In an effort to carry God’s words with you, try memorizing parts of Psalm 119. This chapter emphasizes the significance of God’s word and the life that it brings us as we meditate on it.
Each time that you begin to read the Bible, try to recall the verses you have memorized and use them as a means of prayer before your time of study. Allow the words of God through Psalm 119 to shape the way you approach the text.
